House agreement

This house is for rest and retreat, which, in Central Texas, mostly means good AC, a good porch, and permission to do absolutely nothing. We have a place to lie horizontal for a week or a weekend and remember what your own thoughts sound like without a notification going off.
It's built for the kind of gathering that actually restores people, not the kind that requires a recovery day: group here on purpose, slow mornings that start whenever the coffee's ready, and a meal somebody actually cooked instead of one that showed up in a bag.
If you can hear the cicadas arguing with each other, you're doing it right.
- Strip the bed you used and start a load of linens before you leave.
- Kitchen clean, dishes away,
- Trash out to the bins; floors swept. There is no recycling.
- Turn off window units.
- Leave the house ready for someone arriving the same afternoon.
Violations of this agreement — noise, gatherings, too many guests, late payments or leaving the house unturned — are logged. (WE CN COME UP WITH OUR OWN AGREED TERMS)
- First strike: a conversation.
- Second strike: booking access is paused for 30 days.
- Third strike: access to the house ends.
